A little bit about me. I have been a healthcare professional for over 20 years with a MSN in Nursing. I have worked in a variety of health care settings such as Large Assisted living facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, various departments in the Hospital and Home health. Although being a healthcare professional is not a prerequisite or required to provide care in an assisted living I believe my background and knowledge base can enhance the care we do provide to your loved one. I look forward to providing your loved one compassionate care in a home based setting.

As a licensed psychiatric technician who worked with people in various stages of mental illness, emotional changes and life, Melissa has the kind of patience that makes her well suited to the dynamic world of elderly care. Empathic and compassionate, she’s always available to answer a question or educate residents and their families about the process. Using her finely-tuned ethical and moral compass and in-depth knowledge of the psycho-social process, Melissa aims to earn her residents’ unwavering trust and faith as she helps them navigate the range of emotions that accompany the end of life process. She truly loves nothing more than being in a position to assist her residents and their families every step of the way.
